About EverydayCalcs
A small, independent project making everyday maths fast, transparent and private.
What is EverydayCalcs?
EverydayCalcs is a free collection of online calculators and converters for the numbers of everyday life: your exact age, the days between two dates, your BMI and daily calorie needs, loan and mortgage payments, compound interest, percentages, GPA, restaurant tips, and the unit conversions that come up in travel, cooking, fitness and work.
How the site works
Every tool runs entirely in your web browser. When you type numbers into a calculator, the arithmetic happens on your own device — nothing is uploaded, no account is needed, and no record of your figures is kept. Each page explains the formula it uses and walks through a worked example, so you can verify the maths yourself rather than trusting a black box.
Accuracy
Our calculators use standard, widely accepted formulas: the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for calorie needs, WHO categories for BMI, the standard amortisation formula for loans and mortgages, and exact international definitions for unit conversions (1 inch = 2.54 cm exactly). Results are estimates for general information — for medical, tax or legal decisions, please consult a qualified professional.
Who runs it?
EverydayCalcs is an independent one-person project, built and maintained with care. If you spot an error, have a suggestion for a new calculator, or just want to say hello, head to the contact page — corrections are always welcome and are usually applied within a few days.
